Lessons

As I’m busy making changes to my daily life (the color and length of my hair, where I live, my routine after work, to name a few), I have failed completely in altering the bigger picture of my life as a whole. I know that there are things that I am not content with, and I know that there is a new path out there becoming overgrown with weeds of my fear and inability to decide which way to go….

This fall, I plan to take a more active roll in what really makes me happy. Whether that means committing myself to a total change in lifestyle, or perhaps pursuing my own company of some sort, or even joining the hoards of 20 and 30-somethings in courses designed to teach us how to follow our dreams means little to me as long as I am finally doing something that is actively moving forward. As in not stagnant. Not here. Not where I have been stuck for so long.

As I have been diligently trying to keep up with my passionate pursuit of “a daily photo”…I recognize how much I have been in over my head with such a project. I realize that a lot of the events or weekends that I think I will easily take boat loads of photos of every amazing activity that we take part in, I end up not . But, that’s OK because I am too busy doing this:

But this weekend, I have big plans for changing my unenthusiastic approach to my goals. I adore taking visual memories, little snippets of time to cherish when you think you don’t remember much from that time…and I am going to step my game back up to what it was in the beginning of this challenge for me. How lucky am I that this perfectly coincides with pursuing my dreams and my path . Lately, its been a real lesson in how to have the best of both worlds, and this is no different. I can have a wonderful time, while documenting and recording this amazing time for me to look back on as the years go by. Its the ebb and flow of things that makes it all worth it, right? Oh, Happy Friday!
