I’m Jena Mae. I am a wife, a daughter, a sister and a friend but first and foremost I am an explorer, a lover of life’s many beautiful adventures and feel most at home in nature.

All I am sayin’ is that we are funny, we are creative and I love to share our stories…This is our travel story, the tale of our lives.”

This blog showcases some of the many adventures that my husband and I embark on – many close to home, some far out of our comfort zones. Born and raised in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, my husband and I decided that there was more out there for us to see. We started traveling together well before we were married, rarely spending our weekends and free time at home or indoors. But, once married, we knew it was what we wanted to do, together, as much as possible.

Tom is the spontaneous one, the one who is like water in any situation. You could describe me as the rock, the one who feels the need to direct the flow of things. While I plan, research and navigate our way through the trips we take, Tom steers us along, soaking in each moment. He’s taught me the power of spontaneity and I am forever grateful for that. And, thanks to my preparation, we’ll always (usually) end up in a comfortable place to sleep along our way.
