Fall has come!
“Then summer fades and passes and October comes. We’ll smell smoke then, and feel an unexpected sharpness, a thrill of nervousness, swift elation, a sense of sadness and departure. ” -Thomas Wolfe
Despite coming down with an exhausting cold and a dreary start to a week fore casted with rain and storms, I finally decorated our front porch with some fall decor.
Fall is my favorite time of year. The vibrant colors in the foliage and sky, the crisp smells in the air, the crunch of the changing leaves under your feet…its refreshing, invigorating and some how very comforting in a way that no other season is. I’m excited for the opportunity to enjoy this season in a whole new way this year. In a wonderful new house that both Tom and I are able to appreciate and work hard for.
I love our house. It feels like home and its warm and relaxing…and we are both proud of it. I look forward to a happy and healthy future here.
“Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.” -Stanley Horowitz
