A ritual that Tom and I really enjoy is preparing dinner together and taking the dogs for a walk while the dinner cooks. Last night we decided to explore the area directly around our house. The sun was setting and it showered us with lighting that was soft and warm, perfect for the end of summer.

Tommy took them both for me to free up my hands…

Coming home, we had a calm and quiet dinner. And as much as I am usually bustling around trying to keep the house clean and pristine, when a room is lived in by us, with love…. well thats a lived in that Im certainly ok with.
